最近一段时间，二年级的孩子们一直在学习怎么阅读地图，所以昨天在LILA举办了二年级的海盗日。一早上孩子们就穿着着海盗的衣服和装饰，期待着他们的寻宝之旅。上午9点的时候，孩子们走出教室发现了第一张藏宝图，上面有着一些适合他们的问题。当他们答对问题时就会看见谜语。谜语正式指着下一张藏宝图的地方。最后再破解完10个藏宝图之后，孩子们终于找到他们的宝箱了！

海盗日的举办真的有助于孩子们在娱乐中认识地图和学习地图！我也非常开心能成为海盗跟他们一起冒险！

Recent days，the kids of second grade have been learning how to read the map，so there was a pirate day came in second grade of LILA. Yesterday the kids wore the costume of pirate and decorate themselves as pirate in school，looking forward to begin their adventure of finding the treasure.The kids got out of the classroom and found the first treasure map at 9：00 am.There were some question on the treasure map，once they found the correct answer ，they could disclose the riddle on the map.And once they decoded the riddle，they would know their next destination.And their next treasure map was on their way waiting for them . Finally，after decoded ten treasure map，the kids found their treasure case!

The hold of the pirate day really help the kid for learning the map in a interesting way.And I am really happy that I could have a awesome adventure as a pirate with these little pirates！

 

最近的几天，二年级的小朋友开始制作时间线并且在早会的时候在班级同学面前用中文分享，时间线上从他们出生的时候开始一直到现在。当一个小朋友分享的时候，其他的小朋友会安静地听，然后再分享的小朋友分享完之后其余的小朋友们会举手提问或者发出评论。

分享是早会的一个重要组成部分，这有利于在上课之前提高孩子们活跃的思维。而时间线的分享也有利于提高孩子们的自信和中文能力。看着孩子们分享的时间线，感觉他们的童年生活真的好快乐！

From these days ，the kids of our class began to make their own time line and had their Chinese presentation about the time line.Usually, the time line begins with the day they were born and ends in this year.When every kid made their presentation,the rest of them would listen it quietly and meticulously. And then after the kid who made the presentation finished it,the rest of the kids would put up their hands and asked questions or made comments.

Sharing is one of the very important part of the moring meeting，which helps improve the dynamic of their brain before they start the class.And the presentation helps them improve the ability of express and the confidence.And when I looked at their time line,I felt

they were really happy in childhood！

这周孩子们收到了台湾二年级的小朋友寄过来的信，信上台湾的小朋友说希望与我们班的小朋友成为笔友。虽然台湾小朋友们的信上的字是繁体字，但这也丝毫阻挡不了小朋友的热情与激动，他们将不认识的繁体汉字圈出来，然后问我这个是什么字，怎么读。

我真的很开心看到小朋友的认真读信以及认真探索的样子。让两组拥有不同语言的小朋友通过写信来交流，这看起来是一个非常不错的学习方法，通过写信，他们知道了如何去互相交流以及互相学习，也能互相了解到不同的文化。我真的为这些小朋友们感到骄傲

This week the kids from our class received the letter from the second grade kids of Taiwan.The kids of Taiwan said they hoped to become pen pals on the letter.The kids of Taiwan wrote the complicated tape of Chinese characters，but it didn’t affect the enthusiasm and excitement of the kids in our class. They circled the characters which they were not familiar with，and then they would ask me what is that and how to pronounce it.

I am really happy to see they read and explore the letter meticulously.It seems a good idea of learning for two different group of kids learn from each other and become good friend through the letter.Through the letter， they know how to communicate and learn from each other and they can also be involved in other’s culture. I am really pround of them!

今天四年级的小朋友到我们二年级的班级像二年级的小朋友们讲述如何使用地图.令我非常震撼的是，这些四年级的孩子中的一些孩子平时非常的淘气，但是他们今天像小自己两年级的小朋友讲解知识的时候却非常的认真，一丝不苟，像小老师一样~而且他们中有很多的小朋友是我们班级小朋友的哥哥和姐姐，在弟弟妹妹面前真的还是个小老师呢~

Today some kids from fourth grade came to our second grade class and taught the kids from second about how to use the map. The thing which really  surprised me was some of the kids of the fourth grade were very naughty ，but today they behaved meticulously when they taught the things about how to use the map，they acted really like a teacher~And I found out some of them are the elder brothers or elder sisters of my class.It seems like they are really a teacher in front of their younger brothers and younger sisters~

今天二年级的孩子们去野外远足了，早上8点的时候就登上了校车，部分家长们也跟随孩子们。经历了一个小时的车程，终于到达了目的地。这是一个环山公园。首先工作人员像孩子们讲解如何使用指南针，之后孩子们分成几组拿着指南针探索公园里的道路。一路上我们遇到了巨大的火鸡以及十分有趣的猎鹰，最后我们到达了湖边进行了一个愉快的午餐！看着孩子们的收获，我真的无比的开心和骄傲！

Today our second grade’s kids went to the field trip！They got on the bus at 8:00am，some of their parents were following them and instructing them.We arrived at the destination that a big park surronding by the mountain after one hour’s bus.Firstly，the staff of the park gived kids a lesson of how to useing the map and compass correctly，then kids divided into several groups and searched the park by their equipment and the instruction of some parents .On the way of the trip，we saw so many interesting things like the big turkey and the falcon.Finally,we arrived at a lake and had a great picnic.Looking at which the kids had gained ，I am so happy for them and  pround of them!

 

这周一年一度的万圣节来到了，小朋友们无比的喜悦，大家全部将自己的各式各样的万圣节服装换上来庆祝这个无比有趣的节日，有的是超级英雄，有的是童话故事里的人物，还有的是现实的人物，像美国的总统候选人唐纳德 特朗普。 虽然在中国万圣节不会太受到人们的重视，但是在这里每年的万圣节都是十分有趣十分开心，我也很幸运能真正体验了在美国真正的万圣节。

The Halloween Day which only once a year came this week.Kids were really happy and excited about this.Almost every kid put on the new Halloween costumes to celebrate this important and hilarious day！Some of the costumes are the super heros ，some are characters in the fairy tale and some are the celebrities in the real world，like Donald Trump.In China people do not pay much concern about the Halloween Day，but here it is really fun in every year.And I am very lucky that I have this golden opportunity to experience that！

这个是我们班的孩子，她将自己攒下的三十美元的钱捐给没有饭吃的人们，而不是买玩具。当被她的妈妈问道为什么这样做的时候，她的回答是这是你教我的呀。这让我想到了很久以前的中国的一个公益广告。就是一个小男孩看见她的妈妈给姥姥洗脚然后端起水跟妈妈说妈妈洗脚的故事。父母对孩子的影响力是很大的。作为她的其中一名老师，我真的很骄傲！

This kid is from my class.She donated 30 dollars which she had saved to the hungry people instead of buying the toys.When she was asked by her mother for why she wanted to do that,and the reply was“because that is what you do”.That reminds me a old Chinese advertisement which tells a story about a kid want to wash his mother’s feet after he saw the moment her mother was washing his grandmother’s feet.Parents have a great influence

on kids.As one of her teacher，I am really proud of her！

This picture was drawn in the class by the kids.Through the picture we can see this picture perfectly clarify  the notion of curiosity，cooperation，independence and concentration.This was good picture from one of the twins in my class.Not only her,the rest of the kids also clarify the abstract and inexplicable meaning of life through the picture，they all did a great job! I really think this is a  good way to learn the Chinese. And I really feel amazed about the imagination and creativity of the American kids！

这个图片是小朋友在课堂上画的，通过图片我们可以看到，这张图片完美的诠释 了好奇，合作，独立和投入。这是我们班的一个双胞胎的作品，不仅仅是她，其他的小朋友们也很好的用图片画出了生活中抽象的概念,他们做的都很棒！这却是是个学习中文的好方法！我真的很感叹美国小朋友的想象力和创造力！

 

 

I found myself full of passion and energy every day after I begun my teaching career in LILA because of these innocent kids.They are practical，full of imagination，do not afraid of speaking Chinese ，which  I am really pround of them.Not only that,they are also full of sympathy，donating their money to the poor which do not have money for the meal.

Because of the money which they donated，LILA hold an activity called fun run.In the fun run,the kids are very excited and most of them finish 35 circles.In this activity ,they know what is persistence!

因为这些天真无邪的孩子们，正式进入LILA教中文的我发现每一天在学校里的日子都充满激情和活力。孩子们的实践性很强，很有想象力，他们不怕在人前说中文，这些都是我很骄傲的地方。不仅如此，他们也很有爱心，将自己的钱捐出来给那些没有饭吃的人。

因为捐款的事情，学校组织了孩子们进行愉快的长跑活动。在这个活动中，孩子们都激动和开心，他们中的大部分完成了35圈的长跑！在这个活动中，他们懂得了什么是坚持不懈!

Hi,everyone !My name is Haocheng Chen,and I am a senior student from Jilin Normal university .At the middle of the June ,I successfully passed the interview of Confucius institute of St.cloud University and became one of the student intern of Chinese immersion program.

I have been learning English for a long time ,and I was always looking forward to come and feel everything，especially culture and education in America. Actually,everything happened in America was really amazing and unforgettable!

The first week of the arrival,we took training at  Confucius institute of St.cloud University,and I knew so many things about American education system and the big differences compare to Chinese education system,and I also had a good expectation for the following days which I would teach kids Chinese in LILA.A series of activity such as taking photos with the mayor ，listening the speech of the presient of St. cloud ，making so many friends ，which was really fantastic！

After one week, some of us came to Forest Lake and prepared to teach Chinese in LILA!I live in a host family,and my host dad and host mom were very nice person!And now I’m looking forward to get started of my work in LILA!

大家好，我叫陈浩成，是吉林师范大学的大四学生，在今年的6月中旬，我成功地通过了面试和考核，成为吉林师范大学第一届参加美国圣克劳德州立大学孔子学院的“中文沉浸式教育”的项目的四名实习生中的一名。

我学习英语有很长一段时间了，所以一直想到美国来感受美国的文化和教育。这次的旅程的所有的事情都很精彩和难忘！

刚到美国的第一周，我们在圣克劳德州立大学孔子学院接受培训。这次的培训也让我清楚地了解了美国教育体系的内容和与中国教育体系之间的差别,让我在正式工作前充满传授美国孩子中文知识的期待。同时也经历了很多激动人心的事情，如听圣克劳德州立大学大学校长的演讲，与圣克劳德市市长合影以及认识了很多新的中国朋友与美国朋友。

一周后，我们孔子学院团队的一些人去了福里斯特雷克市的湖区国际语言学校教中文。在这里，我住在寄宿家庭家里，并且我的寄宿家庭的主人们是非常好的人！我现在真的很期待即将到来的在学校教中文的日子！
